Any car that is sold on the silent auction must meet the following requirements before it can be removed by the purchaser.
The vehicle must be paid in full, the winning bid (and a one time tow if applicable)
The vehicle needs to pass a safety inspection. The vehicle can be inspected by a law enforcement official or by an approved repair shop
There will be a onetime charge for the vehicle being towed to the repair shop, at our current rate. This will cover a tow to the shop, and back to Andy’s once inspection or repairs are complete. The vehicle cannot be trailered or towed by an outside individual or company. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of the inspection by the repair facility. If a law enforcement official is wanted to complete the inspection, the purchaser is responsible for setting up a time for that officer/agency to come to Andy’s impound lot and inspect the vehicle. The vehicle must pass a complete inspection before the title can be transfered, copies of the title transfer are required before the vehicle leaves Andys property.
Once the vehicle passes the inspection it can be removed from Andys impound lot, once the title is transferred. Insurance is needed on the vehicle if it is to be driven out. We are able to tow the vehicle to private property, however the tow out would need to be paid for by the purchaser.
If the vehicle fails to pass the inspection it can be returned to Andy’s. Only the cost of the winning bid will be reimbursed, the tow to the repair shop and the inspection will not.
All sales are final. Vehicles are sold as is. There are no warranties written or otherwise.
